Brief Description

Do you have an interest in sales and technology? Want to combine the two and earn while you learn?

Qualifications Required

? To be considered for this role, you must have at least a C grade in both GCSE Maths & English and in three or four other subjects at least. You should have a GCSE/BTEC/A Level in ICT or at least hands-on experience with the workings of computers and IT.

Training to be Provided

You will be enrolled onto the Microsoft Technical Sales Apprenticeship and work towards gaining MTA qualifications in Cloud Fundamentals as well as a City & Guilds Level 3 ICT Diploma, gaining an understanding of the sales process, interpersonal communications, planning, making and closing calls, objection handling and meeting objectives. This apprenticeship is delivered remotely using the very latest Microsoft technologies via a live virtual classroom. This apprenticeship teaches the fundamental core sales skills and techniques for anybody looking to kick-start a career in Technical Sales.?

Intequal, in partnership with the Microsoft Apprenticeship Programme, are offering this exciting opportunity to embark on a career as a Technical Sales Apprentice and join a vibrant, team focused technology company.

Job Role
We are currently recruiting for a talented apprentice who can help grow and develop the company?s client base, whilst learning new sales techniques and earning commission in the process.

As a Technical Sales Apprentice your main role and responsibilities will include:
1) Working with third party suppliers on customer queries / special pricing / technical support for the customer and any escalations, as well as working with the team on a daily basis for requests.
2) Internal processing of orders from clients using both online and telephone techniques.
3) Daily review of internal procedures to improve streamlining systems.
4) Daily reviewing and updating of all client information.
5) Assisting the team to keep their Salesforce opportunities up to date with their forecast / upside and pipeline activity for the year, including creating/updating opportunities where necessary.
6) Acting as a point of contact for account teams.
7) Following up queries for the team and working with Finance to ensure all information on deals is accurate and up to date.
8) Ensuring all aspects of apprenticeship programme are being met.
Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will receive Microsoft training and accreditation through blended learning. This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer. The certifications you gain are highly respected and globally recognised. The skills, knowledge and experience you will gain whilst on the programme are invaluable, giving you the best possible start in your professional career within the IT sector.
