Qualifications Required
? To be considered for this role, you must have at least a C grade in both GCSE Maths & English, and in three or four other subjects at least. You should have a GCSE/BTEC/A Level in ICT or at least hands-on experience with the workings of computers and IT.

Training to be Provided
You will be enrolled on to the award-winning Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programme. You will work towards gaining skills across a variety of technical areas including Cloud Technologies and Network Fundamentals. This will extend also business processes and project management. You will also have the opportunity to gain some globally recognised Microsoft certifications.
Future Prospects
The IT Team at this company supports a wide range of technologies across their schools. The IT team are experienced and can offer a lot of support to a trainee who is interested in learning. Ideally they would like to support someone in gaining employment within the business but this would depend on how the person has worked during the apprenticeship and the need at the time.

Job Role
We are looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer Apprentice who is a hardworking, organised individual with flexibility and a willingness to learn.
As a Microsoft Infrastructure Technician Apprentice your main roles and responsibilities will include:
? Desktop support
? Booking and overseeing delivery of IT equipment within schools
? Hardware repairs
? Resolution of technical issues logged through the IT Helpdesk
? Testing/installation of new software applications.
The position will be line managed by a Senior IT Support Engineer.
The IT team provides IT support for 9 schools (3 Secondary & 7 Primary). This position is to provide IT support at two schools as required. Geographically they are close and it?s simple to walk from one to the other.
Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will receive Microsoft training and accreditation through blended learning. This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer. The certifications you gain are highly respected and globally recognised. The skills, knowledge and experience you will gain whilst on the programme are invaluable, giving you the best possible start in your professional career within the IT sector.

Location - Hull, HU5 (working across two school sites)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday between 8am ? 4pm
Wage = ?144.30 per week
