Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role, you ideally would hold a C/4 grade in both GCSE Math?s & English, and in three or four other subjects. You should have a GCSE/BTEC/A Level in ICT or at least hands-on experience with the workings of computers and IT.

Training to be Provided

You will be enrolled on to the award-winning Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programme. You will work towards gaining skills across a variety of technical areas including MTA Cloud Fundamentals and MTA Network Fundamentals, these are globally recognised certifications, you will also gain a City and Guilds Diploma in Coding and logic and mobile and operating systems. This will also extend to business processes and project management.

We are looking to recruit an IT Support Apprentice who is a hardworking, organised individual with flexibility and a willingness to learn.

As a Microsoft Infrastructure Technician Apprentice your main roles and responsibilities will include:
? Answering incoming telephone calls
? Logging incidents into incident logging tool on incoming call information
? Following up on all incidents logged, updating incident logging tool and updating customer
? Resolving or escalating incidents logged, keeping incident logging tool and customer up to date
? Providing deskside support for local customers on hardware and software
? Providing remote support for remote customers on hardware and software.

Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will receive Microsoft training and accreditation through blended learning. This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer. The certifications you gain are highly respected and globally recognised. The skills, knowledge and experience you will gain whilst on the programme are invaluable, giving you the best possible start in your professional career within the IT sector.

You will be employed by a company that specialises in the provision of IT support and who are committed to providing businesses with the highest quality, proactive managed services. Their business-led, strategic approach really stands out from the rest of the market. Based at the head office of one of their major clients, a popular car dealership, you will be providing IT support to over 2000 internal end users.
A full-time role is available upon successful completion of the apprenticeship for the right person, with the opportunity to move to a more senior support role.

Wage = ?168.75 per week
