Qualifications Required : To be considered for this role, you ideally would hold a C/4 grade in both GCSE Math’s & English, and in three or four other subjects. You would look to have gained a GCSE/BTEC/A Level in IT or have some hands-on experience with the workings of computers and IT/Software.

As a Level 3 Software Developer Apprentice, you will be undertaking a recognised apprenticeship qualification, including Microsoft certifications, at the same time as working as part of the company’s software development team.
You’ll work as part of our team to learn about the latest technologies the company uses to deliver what they need, including C#, Java Script and HTML to name a few.
You will be assisting with projects and gaining on the job knowledge whilst gaining a qualification.
The candidate will be able to learn and pick up an entirely new skill. Filling the role of an interactive software developer, they will be working in a team of four other developers to work with new clients, creating interactive experiences. The other part of the role would be to update and maintain WordPress websites.
As a Microsoft Software Developer Apprentice your main role and responsibilities will include:
• Writing new code
• Software testing
• Updating existing websites
• Managing client enquiries.
Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will receive Microsoft training and accreditation through blended learning. This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer. The certifications you gain are highly respected and globally recognised. The skills, knowledge and experience you will gain whilst on the programme are invaluable. Giving you the best possible start in your professional career within the IT sector.

Training to be Provided : You will be enrolled onto the award-winning Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programme. The Software Developer (Level 3) apprenticeship contains the following knowledge modules and Microsoft Technological Associate (MTA) certiﬁcations:
• Software Development Context & Methodologies
• MTA Software Development Fundamentals (C#)
• MTA Database Fundamentals
You will attend 3 training courses to help you pass the exams for the 2 knowledge modules and the MTA:
• Software Development Context & Methodologies
• Programming Using C#
• Database Fundamentals
These qualifications are globally recognised industry certifications and form the significant building block of software development knowledge for anybody looking to start a career in software development.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm
Wage: Between £156 - £175 per week
