Qualifications Required
The company require a bright, enthusiastic and hard-working individual with a genuine desire to learn and to build a career. The company are looking for someone with a positive, highly self-motivating, can-do attitude from someone who isn?t afraid to ask questions.
To be considered for this role, you ideally would hold a C/4 grade in both GCSE Math?s & English, and in three or four other subjects. You would look to have gained a GCSE/BTEC/A Level in IT or have some hands-on experience with the workings of computers and IT/Software.
? You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills and a brilliant telephone manner.

Training to be Provided
You will be enrolled onto the award-winning Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programme. The Software Developer (Level 3) apprenticeship contains the following knowledge modules and Microsoft Technological Associate (MTA) certi?cations:
? Software Development Context & Methodologies
? Programming
? MTA Software Development Fundamentals (C#)
? MTA Database Fundamentals
You will attend 3 training courses to help you pass the exams for the 2 knowledge modules and the MTA:
? Software Development Context & Methodologies
? Programming Using C#
? Database Fundamentals
These qualifications are globally recognised industry certifications and form the significant building block of software development knowledge for anybody looking to start a career in software development.

About the company.
Our client based in Hereford are a successful growing IT business offering a wide range of IT services such as IT support, broadband & software/web development.
With the company expanding they are now looking for a new Software Developer to join their team. Throughout this apprenticeship you will be working as a software developer apprentice working towards a qualification as a - Level 3 qualification.
What your day will look like as a Software Developer Apprentice?
1) Helping with Software development projects using Workflows.
3) Building workflows.
4) Providing 1st line Tech Support.
5) Helping with server management & installations.
Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will receive Microsoft training and accreditation through blended learning. This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer. The certifications you gain are highly respected and globally recognised. The skills, knowledge and experience you will gain whilst on the programme are invaluable.
