Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role, you must hold a C/4 grade in both GCSE Maths & English, and in three or four other subjects. You should have a GCSE/BTEC/A Level in ICT or at least hands-on experience with the workings of computers and IT.
You will need a driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Personal Qualities
The company require a bright, enthusiastic and hard-working individual with a genuine desire to learn and to build a career within the IT industry. You will have a friendly personality, be able to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.

Training to be Provided
You will be enrolled on to the award-winning Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programme. You will work towards gaining skills across a variety of technical areas including MTA Cloud Fundamentals and MTA Network Fundamentals, these are globally recognised certifications, you will also gain a City and Guilds Diploma in Coding and logic and mobile and operating systems. This will also extend to business processes and project management.
Future Prospects
Opportunity for the learner to secure a permanent position with the company after the apprenticeship is complete.

Job Role
We are looking to recruit an IT Apprentice who is a hardworking, organised individual with flexibility and a willingness to learn.
As a Microsoft Infrastructure Technician Apprentice your main roles and responsibilities will include:
? Supporting the IT Manager over the 4 Primary schools
? Providing teachers and students with technical support
? Setting up IT infrastructure
? Audio/ visual set up
? Providing MS 365 support
? Providing connectivity support

The employer is a multi academy trust and is a caring & friendly group of 7 academies (1 All Through, 2 secondary & 4 primary), serving a discrete, diverse & multicultural community in East Birmingham. They have 714 employees spread across 7 sites, all within a 3.5 mile-radius of each other.
It?s an exciting time to join their ICT Team, which was centralised in September 2019 and they are looking for ambitious and hard-working people to support their schools.
This post will primarily be supporting the four primary schools, so flexibility to travel between sites is essential.
You will join their friendly IT team, where you will be taking part in a fantastic opportunity to gain a level 3 qualification at the end of the apprenticeship.
Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will receive Microsoft training and accreditation through blended learning. This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer. The certifications you gain are highly respected and globally recognised.
