Brief Description

Qualifications Required

? 5 GCSE?s, grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and maths)
? A Level (or equivalent) qualifications preferred.

? Happy to take feedback well and act on guidance given

Skills Required

? Interested in and have a real passion for and familiar with social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn.) and social media management
? Good knowledge of digital trends
? Effective time management and communication skills both verbal and written
? SEO knowledge
? Impeccable spelling, grammar and use of the English language
? Confidence with a wide range of IT skills

Training to be Provided

You will be enrolled onto the Digital Marketing Apprenticeship and work towards gaining a City & Guilds Level 3 Digital Marketing Diploma. You will also have the opportunity to learn specific skills in SEO and Google Ads, LinkedIn, Hootsuite and Google analytics. You will also a achieve the Google Academy IQ certifications. This apprenticeship is delivered remotely using a live virtual classroom and the very latest Microsoft Technologies. This apprenticeship teaches the fundamental core skills required for anybody looking to kick-start a career in the Digital Marketing Sector.

Future Prospects

After the Digital Marketing Apprenticeship, the candidate would be considered to possibly progress into a full-time permanent role as a Digital Marketing Executive.

To oversee working with the director on the company?s digital marketing plan including social media posts with engaging content to our target markets.

Main responsibilities:
This is a varied role where you will gain experience in a wide selection of the marketing mix, including:
? Implementing marketing strategy across a range of digital channels including website content and social media with a focus on brand awareness and lead generation
? Keeping social media accounts active and up to date, engaging and growing relevant audiences
? Creating and managing eye catching content on our website (WordPress, Photoshop, CMS) ? copywriting and blogging
? Improving website rankings in Google searches (SEO)
? Regularly reviewing competitor social media and hashtags
? Writing and broadcasting of email campaigns and monthly newsletter
? Creating, monitoring and optimising Google Ads campaigns (PPC)
? Able to liaise with our external web agency partner on aspects of the site design
? Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using Google Analytics and Google webmaster
? Using Google Analytics to monitor and evaluate the performance of different campaigns and websites
? Analysing and reporting the performance of a variety of digital metrics (leads, sales, website traffic, ad cost and spend, ROI etc.)

This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer.
