Qualifications Required : To be considered for this role, you must have a C/4 grade in both GCSE Maths & English, and in three or four other subjects at least. You will have gained a GCSE, BTEC or A Level in IT or have some hands-on experience with software, coding & programming.

Job Role

As a Level 3 Software Developer Apprentice, you will be undertaking a recognised apprenticeship qualification including Microsoft certifications, at the same time as working as part of the company’s software development team.
You’ll work as part of the team to learn about the latest technologies the company uses to deliver what they need, including CSS, Java Script and HTML to name a few. You will be assisting with projects and gaining on the job knowledge whilst gaining a qualification.

After training you will be part of a team developing Apps and Websites using Ruby on Rails software.
Eventually you will be:
- Responsible for in-depth specification of all projects with the rest of the team
- Planning, development and ownership of internal automation development
- Be central to creating/adapting innovative digital solutions with the development team

Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will receive training through blended learning. This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer. The skills, knowledge and experience you will gain whilst on the programme are invaluable, giving you the best possible start to your professional career within the IT industry.

Salary : £ 10,000.00 to £ 12,000.00 (Annually)

Future Prospects : A full time permanent position is available on completion of the apprenticeship

Delve deep into modern programming in its various forms.

Explore the major development methodologies such as agile and waterfall and testing techniques to understand how to develop quality software as a team.
