Qualifications Required
? 5 A*-C (9-4) GCSEs or Equivalent
Personal Qualities
? Good IT skills
? Knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel and Google Sheets
? Computer literate
? Good literacy and writing skills
? Creative flair and able to use own initiative
Skills Required
? Entrepreneurial, hungry and extremely driven
? Knowledge of Wordpress, Shopify, Magento or some other CMS
? Experience of working with webhooks/APIs
? A strong command of google sheets and excel including script editor
? Comfortable with using initiative to solve problems using technology
? Has built their own website from scratch using HTML, CSS and Javascript
? Proficient in Python, Javascript, CSS and HTML and SQL

? The company are a funded, Asian-fashion startup attempting to make the first online marketplace which uses technology to allow anybody to buy, sell and discover unique Asian fashion. Their service involves using their platform to vet, quality-control, photograph, list and fulfil the fashion, so that every customer gets an unrivalled shopping experience. They want to revolutionize the entire industry, not just in the UK. Their four values are: inclusivity, transparency, sustainability and being customer-first.
? In the first two months of the pilot, They have accumulated the largest collection of unique, Asian fashion styles across the UK; onboarded more than 30 UK-based businesses who want to use our tech platform to sell Asian fashion online; and have set up the first Asian fashion creative studio.
As a Level 3 Software Developer Apprentice, you will be undertaking a recognised apprenticeship qualification including Microsoft certifications, at the same time as working as part of the company?s software development team.
You?ll work as part of the team to learn about the latest technologies the company uses to deliver what they need, including CSS, Java Script and HTML to name a few. You will be assisting with projects and gaining on the job knowledge whilst gaining a qualification.
Main role and responsibilities will include:
? Assisting directors with writing code.
? Working on software development projects
? Developing web applications
Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will receive Microsoft training and accreditation through blended learning. This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer. The certifications you gain are highly respected and globally recognised. The skills, knowledge and experience you will gain whilst on the programme are invaluable, giving you the best possible start to your professional career within the IT industry.
