Qualifications Required : To be considered for this role, you must have a C/4 grade in both GCSE Maths & English, and in three or four other subjects. You would look to have gained a GCSE/BTEC/A Level in Business Studies, Media or Marketing.

About the Company

This role involves working across two of our clients.
The first is a recruitment agency who provide temporary and permanent staff to the logistics industry, from drivers, forklift drivers, warehouse staff and office workers. They use a mix of website, social media and PPC campaigns to attract new staff and new customers alike.
The second client collect, dispose and where possible recycle junk & rubbish from homes and businesses in the West Yorkshire area using 2 man / van collection teams. 90% of their business comes from social media and PPC campaigns via their website and they are in the process of building a new website from scratch.

Job Role

We are looking for creative candidates with a keen interest in Digital Marketing. Working closely with the Founder and Website Manager and marketing agencies to build a strong online presence for the brand and the websites.
You will be involved in creating / running marketing campaigns, social media, email marketing, creating landing pages and content writing for all social media streams.
You will play an important role in monitoring and making change to Google adwords and PPC campaigns.

As a Digital Marketing Apprentice your main role and responsibilities will include:
• Brainstorming new and creative ideas
• Innovating and presenting new digital / offline strategies
• Implementing and supporting marketing strategies including social media, print, email, blog, SEO and more
• Driving traffic to company pages
• Uploading content to the website
• Developing engaging online content including videos, graphics, and blogs
• Measuring and reporting performance of digital marketing campaigns/content and assess against goals, using relevant sites such as Google Analytics
• Keeping abreast of new social media sites, technologies, and digital marketing trends; implementing these new technologies in developing campaigns
• Identifying trends and insights, and optimising content, techniques, spend and performance based on the insights
• Support content producers to create optimized product listings on the E-commerce website that drive high visibility in organic search for consumer brands
• Assist in producing written content to drive customer understanding and sales conversion
• Ensuring that all product categories are SEO/user friendly and that all the URLS are correct
• Ensuring all key and relevant content is accessible and correct, based on the requirements of the channel
• Ensuring our content conforms to the brand's and customer's standards
• Evaluate traffic and sales data to improve the effectiveness of content

Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will receive training through blended learning. This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer. The certifications you gain are highly respected and globally recognised. The skills, knowledge and experience you will gain whilst on the programme are invaluable, giving you the best possible start in your professional career within the marketing sector.

Develop an understanding of search marketing, search engine optimisation and Pay-Per-Click, email marketing, web analytics and metrics, mobile apps and how these can work together.

• Security levels necessary to protect data
• Digital etiquette
• Customer Relationship Management systems
• Understand the differences between all the major digital and social media platforms
• Plan digital content based on audience needs
• How a digital marketing team works in a business environment

Principles of Coding
Develop knowledge in the range of concepts, approaches, software languages and techniques that are applicable to Principles of Coding.

• How local (cookies) or session data storage is utilised
• Programming languages and how they apply to building digital products (html/javascript)

Google Analytics IQ
Develop knowledge to be proficient in Google Analytics and be effective at leveraging Google Analytics within their organisations.
