Qualifications Required : To be considered for this role, you must have a C/4 grade in both GCSE Maths & English, and in three or four other subjects at least. You will have gained a GCSE, BTEC or A Level in IT or have some hands-on experience with software, coding & programming.

Job Role

As a Level 3 Junior PHP Developer Apprentice, you will be undertaking a recognised apprenticeship qualification, at the same time as working as part of the company’s software development team.
You’ll work as part of the team to learn about the latest technologies the company uses to deliver what they need, You will be assisting with projects and gaining on the job knowledge whilst gaining a qualification.

As a Software Developer Apprentice your main role and responsibilities will include:
• Becoming a member of the development team
• Ensuring that all digital projects are completed
• Giving your technical knowledge to ensure projects are the best they can be and developing further solutions for the company’s continued growth
• Building, managing and sending ebulletin campaigns on behalf of clients

Working Week : Monday - Friday
Salary : £ 187.50 (Weekly)

Personal Qualities : The company require a bright, enthusiastic and hardworking individual with a genuine desire to learn and to build a career in technology. The company are looking for someone with a positive, highly self-motivating, can-do attitude and who isn’t afraid to ask questions.
Skills Required : The technical skill set with; PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript are essential and additional knowledge of PHP Frameworks such as Laravel is desired.
Future Prospects : A permanent position is available on completion of the apprenticeship.

Explore desktop, web and mobile app development along with concepts such as machine learning and AI.

Gain a practical understanding of databases including design, queries, administration and maintenance.

Explore the major development methodologies such as agile and waterfall and testing techniques to understand how to develop quality software as a team.
