Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role, you ideally would hold a GCSE in Maths and English (A*-C) or (9-3) or equivalent, and in three or four other subjects. You would look to have gained a GCSE/BTEC/A Level in Business Studies, Media or Marketing.
Please note that you must not hold an existing qualification at a higher level in a similar subject (e.g. a degree).

Digital Marketing Business Principles
Develop an understanding of search marketing, search engine optimisation and Pay-Per-Click, email marketing, web analytics and metrics, mobile apps and how these can work together.
Key Topics:
• Security levels necessary to protect data
• Digital etiquette
• Customer Relationship Management systems
• Understand the differences between all the major digital and social media platforms
• Plan digital content based on audience needs
• How a digital marketing team works in a business environment

Principles of Coding
Develop knowledge in the range of concepts, approaches, software languages and techniques that are applicable to Principles of Coding.
Key Topics:
• Compatibility of code on different platforms
• Components involved in web development
• Hosting and serving
• Search Engines
• How local (cookies) or session data storage is utilised
• Programming languages and how they apply to building digital products (html/javascript)

Google Analytics IQ

Future Prospects

There is potentially a full time position available upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme.
Completion of the apprenticeship would also allow access to join as an Affiliate (Professional) member of the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) and/or Associate membership of BCS.

Vacancy Detail

A position has become available in a close-knit company in Cullompton, Devon. Adopstar is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their ad operations team.

Working with an array of high-profile global clients, you will manage the delivery of the company client’s digital advertising campaigns, liaising with many different departments within their organisations such as sales, marketing and campaign management to ensure the smooth running of their advertising needs.

On a day-to-day basis you will be communicating with clients on their requirements (over email and via the telephone), scheduling advertising campaigns through their ad serving systems, reporting on campaign performance, optimising digital advertisements to ensure KPIs are met, implementing strategies to further increase advertising revenues and quality assuring other team member’s work to ensure it is completed to the highest standard, all while working as quickly and efficiently as possible to ensure work is completed within the contracted turnaround times.

As this is an apprenticeship position, full training will be provided.

Important Info - For the first 4 weeks you will need to be in the office for training and thereafter working from home is available except Wednesdays, Company event days or during Client visits. Full training will be provided for all tasks and a technical minded person should not have any issues in picking this work up quickly.
