Brief Description

• To develop, manage and measure social media activity and presence across the New Forest contract to support lead generation for new sales, increased footfall and repeat business
• To monitor and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns to ensure best practice and on-going development of the digital communication stra

Qualifications Required

Grade C or Grade 4/5 and above in GCSE Math’s and English

Personal Qualities

A good understanding of social media platforms for use by businesses

Excellent creative writing and language skills

Ability to communicate information and ideas in written and video format

Good technical understanding and ability to learn quickly

Working knowledge of principles of SEO and Google Analytics

Training to be Provided

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Digital Marketer qualification, with training in how to:

• Source, plan, develop and deploy digital content across a variety of channels
• Execute multi-channel digital campaigns using online platforms
• Monitor and evaluate channel and campaign performance using different analytical tools
• Adopt a test and learn approach to digital marketing activities, making recommendations for improvement

All training is delivered online in virtual classrooms twice per week

You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed

Vacancy Detail

• To support in the planning and coordination of the annual digital marketing campaigns that span the variety of leisure center’s operated, working with the Area Commercial Manager to maximize cross marketing and promotional opportunities.
• To manage the social media channels which include Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
• To support in the planning and coordination of the social media advertising, including Facebook Ads, creating images and copy with a clear call-to-action.
• Develop, create and publish engaging high quality content through creative writing and use of visual content using images and video.
• To support and manage website content to ensure it is up to date, relevant and optimized.
• To make use of social media analytics to measure the success of digital communications activity against agreed key performance indicators
• Create e-newsletters and email campaigns using our e comms platforms.
• Create the monthly Freedom Flyer for internal communication.
• To support in generating press releases for local media.
• To manage the image library to support social media and web content.
• To maintain the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction at all times, recognising and communicating its importance and relevance to the success of the organisation.
• To work outside normal hours on events and at activity sessions, if required, covering the social media and digital marketing function; coordinating event photographers and videographers.
• Travel both inside and outside the New Forest partnership as required.
• To carry out such other duties commensurate with the grading of the post as may reasonably be required.
