Intequal, in partnership with the Microsoft Apprenticeship Programme, are offering this exciting opportunity to embark on a career as an IT Sales and Support Apprentice.

Qualifications Required

? To be considered for this role, you must have at least a C grade in both GCSE Math?s & English, and in three or four other subjects at least. You should have a GCSE/BTEC/A Level in ICT or at least hands-on experience with the workings of computers and IT.

Training to be Provided

You will be enrolled on to the award-winning Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programme. You will work towards gaining skills across a variety of technical areas including Cloud Technologies and Network Fundamentals. This will extend also business processes and project management. You will also have the opportunity to gain some globally recognised Microsoft certifications.

Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship you will achieve Microsoft accredited certifications this is a fantastic starting point in your IT career, for the right candidate future career progression within the company is almost certainly an option.

The company require a proactive IT Technician with an aptitude for communication and interest in Microsoft infrastructure technologies such as Windows.
Quickly assimilating new technologies, being able to apply what is learnt and showing a genuine enthusiasm for the technology are critical to this position?s success.

As an IT Sales and Support Apprentice, your main roles and responsibilities will include:

Sales Duties:
?To maintain, develop and increase sales within the retail department
?To manage and improve current profit margins
?To maintain and progress individual and team projects
?To maintain sales literature including physical and electronic media
?To ensure that deliveries are booked in, orders allocated and product displayed in accordance with booking in procedure
?To ensure that the retail area is well presented, clean and tidy
?To be first point of contact for all prospective clients
?To ensure all repairs are picked up within the service ETA.

Support Duties:
?To manage all incidents and customer requests from receipt to resolution and closure
?To complete daily server monitoring checks in line with company procedure
?To ensure service level agreement standards are met
?To promptly complete any admin paperwork and documentation
?Keep accurate records of all site information using IT Service Management tools
?Promote best practices and adhere to change control process
?Accurately plan and organise working week
?Submit KPI reports and attend Weekly Performance meetings.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, worked Monday to Saturday (if working a Saturday, you will get one day off during the week)
Wage = ?200 per week
