Brief Description
As an IT Apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for provisioning new equipment and working as 1st line Support on the helpdesk to resolve IT queries in line with SLAs. This is a perfect opportunity to develop your IT skills and reach your true potential.

Training to be Provided
Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification:
The qualification has core knowledge elements, before branching out into one of the following pathways:
• IT Support Technician
• Network Technician
• Digital Communications Technician
Your Tutor, Pathway Planner and Employer will decide the best pathway for you to follow.
All training is delivered online in virtual classrooms twice per week
You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed

In this role, you’ll work towards your Information Communication Technician Level 3 qualification, delivered by the training team at JBC Skills Training.
A Typical Day in the Job:
Prepare and configure new hardware to be installed at customers sites
Provide 1st line helpdesk support to customers
Log and respond to tickets on the helpdesk
Work towards delivering a high-quality IT support service in line with target SLAs
Shadow the rest of team on customers site to gain a broader understanding of other technologies
