An exciting opportunity has arrived to join an exciting and progressive software development company as a Level 4, Software Development Apprentice.
Qualifications Required
To be considered for this role, you ideally would hold a C/4 grade in both GCSE Math?s & English, and in three or four other subjects.

You will be enrolled onto the award-winning Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programme.
The Software Developer (Level 4) apprenticeship contains the following knowledge modules and Microsoft certi?cations.

? Developing Mobile Apps (20-357)

You will attend 3 training courses to help you pass the exams for the 2 knowledge modules and the
Microsoft Certi?cations:
? Software Development Context & Methodologies
? Programming in C# (20-483B) OR Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS (20-480B)
? Developing Mobile Apps (20-357) OR Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications (20-486B)
These qualifications are globally recognised industry certifications and form the significant building block of software development knowledge for anybody looking to continue your career in software development.

Our client is a growing business based in Alcester, with over 20 year?s experience providing IT services to their clients such as IT Support, Cyber security & business telephone systems.
The business is now looking to expand their team and would like you to join them working as a Level 4 software developer apprentice.
Job Role
As a Level 4 Software Developer Apprentice you will be undertaking a recognised apprenticeship qualification, including Microsoft certifications, at the same time as working as part of the company?s software development team.
You?ll work as part of our team to learn about the latest technologies we use to deliver what the company needs, including C# within the MVC framework, supported by the use of test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration using Team City and continuous deployment using Octopus Deploy.
As a Microsoft Software Developer Apprentice your main roles and responsibilities will include:
? Backend coding for software programmes
? Providing software support
? Eventually manage the accounts
? Using C#, Powerbuilder & Appion- languages
? Also SQL database for backend- debugging & diagnosis.
Throughout the duration of the apprenticeship, you will receive Microsoft training and accreditation through blended learning. This combines online technical training within a virtual classroom, as well as real-world and practical experience with your employer. The certifications you gain are highly respected and globally recognised. The skills, knowledge and experience you will gain whilst on the programme are invaluable.
