Qualifications Required

The company require a bright, enthusiastic and hard-working individual with a genuine desire to learn and build a career in the IT sector. You will have a friendly personality, be able to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service. ??You must have at least a C grade for Maths & English at GCSE
???????? A GCSE, BTEC or A/S Level in IT would be beneficial but not essential.

The company require the candidate to have a passion for IT and have a service led attitude, and be able to communicate well with customers. You will need to be able to work well independently but know when to seek support from more senior staff when required in order to complete all work to the company standard.

Training to be Provided

You will be enrolled on to the award-winning Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programme. You will work towards gaining skills across a variety of technical areas including Cloud Technologies and Network Fundamentals. This will extend also business processes and project management. You will also have the opportunity to gain some globally recognised Microsoft certifications.

Vacancy Detail

We are currently seeking an energetic, highly motivated, detail-oriented, 1st line technical Support apprentice to provide a wide range of IT and software related support. The job role is diverse and will give you the opportunity to develop your IT skills further.

Your main role will be to provide 1st line technical support to customers and educational clients alike. You will be providing help and support with issue resolutions and installations, both via remote access and onsite visits to client sites, as and when required.

The role will also involve supporting the configuration of new Voip systems, PC?s, servers and exchange mailboxes, office 365 and backup software for which full training will be provided.

Other duties may include:
? Remotely supporting workstations
? Spotting the need for, suggesting and undertaking projects
? Adhering to SLA's
? Building and maintaining relationships with clients
? Taking ownership of client issues and following through a solution to the end
? Prioritising support requests and allocating resources to fulfil those requests

Other Information

The person needs to drive and have or have ready access to a car. (All business travel expenses will be reimbursed by the company).
